In addition to the funding and support provided by the European Union, EIUC is the signatory of partnership agreements with some of the major international organisations and academic networks active in the field of human rights
Thanks to the hospitality of the City of Venice, EIUC’s venue is the Monastery of San Nicolò founded in the 11th century and transformed into a Renaissance cloister in the 16th century. A place of inspiration for human rights students, scholars, activists … and for James Bond fans
The venues of the Regional Master’s programmes of the GC are the University of Sarajevo for South East Europe programme, Yerevan State University for the Caucasus programme, University of Pretoria for the African programme, Mahidol University in Bangkok for the Asia-Pacific programme, San Martin University/CIEP in Buenos Aires for Latin American and the Caribbean programme, and the University of Saint Joseph in Beirut for the Arab World.
A team of dedicated staff based in Venice and in all other GC venues ensures the efficient management of EIUC and GC activities.
